Take the following actions when your app is not working

Steps:

1. Select [Settings]> [Battery]

2. Click "Power saving exclusions"

3. Locate the "Battery charge sound alert" app 

4. Turn on toggle of "Battery charge sound alert" App, you're done!

The above setting method is based on the  UI of LG G7.
